Hypericum confertum is a species of flowering plant of the St. John's Wort family (Hypericaceae) which is native from Turkey to Lebanon and on the island of Cyprus
The rich and rare biodiversity of Cyprus includes 1,908 plants, 780 seashells, 250 fish, over 7,000 insects, 410 birds including migratory species, 31 mammals, 9 snakes, 11 lizards, 3 amphibians, 120 land snails, an estimated 5,000–8,000 fungi and 3 turtles.
