Βίντεο του βιολογικού κύκλου του Propomacrus bimucronatus ssp. cypriacus
Ένα ιδιαίτερο βίντεο αφιερωμένο στον βιολογικό κύκλο του Propomacrus bimucronatus ssp. cypriacus, ενός από τα πιο εντυπωσιακά κολεόπτερα που απαντούν στην Κύπρο.
Το βίντεο δημιουργήθηκε με σκοπό την οπτική καταγραφή και παρουσίαση διαφορετικών σταδίων της ζωής του εντόμου, προσφέροντας τη δυνατότητα παρατήρησης μιας διαδικασίας που στη φύση παραμένει σε μεγάλο βαθμό κρυμμένη και δύσκολα γίνεται αντιληπτή.
Το βίντεο γυρίστηκε και σκηνοθετήθηκε από τον George Konstantinou.
Η δημιουργία του πραγματοποιήθηκε εν μέρει στο πλαίσιο έργου που χρηματοδοτήθηκε από το Mohamed bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund.
Το υλικό προετοιμάστηκε από τον George Konstantinou για το Department of Biological Sciences, University of Cyprus.
Η συγκεκριμένη καταγραφή αποτελεί μέρος της προσπάθειας τεκμηρίωσης και παρουσίασης της φυσικής κληρονομιάς και της βιοποικιλότητας της Κύπρου μέσα από φωτογραφικό και κινηματογραφικό υλικό.

A special video dedicated to the biological life cycle of Propomacrus bimucronatus ssp. cypriacus, one of the most impressive beetles occurring in Cyprus.
The video was created to visually document and present different stages in the life of the insect, providing an opportunity to observe a process that in nature remains largely hidden and is difficult to witness.
The video was filmed and directed by George Konstantinou.
It was produced partly within the framework of a project funded by the Mohamed bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund.
The material was prepared by the George Konstantinou for the Department of Biological Sciences, University of Cyprus.
This documentation forms part of the effort to record and present the natural heritage and biodiversity of Cyprus through photographic and audiovisual material.
